These two photocopiable resource books provide exercises and tasks to complement the New Zealand School Journals. These worksheets can be used in a number of versatile ways: as a basis for a guided reading programme; as oral discussion questions; as written follow-up activities; as a basis for small group or whole class discussions; as a context for introducing new concepts such as Y charts, information webs, PMI’s, BAR’s etc. The hundreds of exercises and tasks include recall and comprehension questions, as well as questions that require deeper thinking. Book A covers 32 Part 1 and 2 Journals. A range of useful templates are provided to assist teachers with implementing the exercises.
